Education and Training:

Congratulations on taking your first step on your journey towards healing and wellness!  My name is Christi and I will be your therapist at New Vision Counseling, LLC.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and received a Master of Science degree in Counseling from University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Arizona State University.  I have worked in community behavioral health across multiple settings including outpatient community mental health clinics, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization settings providing individual, group, and family counseling with children, adolescents, and adults. 

I am currently an EMDR trained therapist and often use this method of treatment to help clients heal from distressing past events and develop improved sense of self in the present.

Practice Information:

New Vision Counseling, LLC is currently located in Mesa, AZ. I work with adults and adolescents ages 14 and up providing individual and family therapy as needed.  I often find that my clients tend to face challenges such as depression, anxiety, dissatisfaction with relationships, past abuse/trauma, and low self-esteem. In therapy, we not only address these issues, but increase insight into the development of these issues which leads to an improved sense of compassion and self-awareness.
